[SOLVED] Is Amd Ryzen 2400g with Rx 580 Pulse 8gb good combo ?

So i was thinking about building new pc and i bought the rx 580 and i really dont know which cpu to buy
And i got some good price for Ryzen 2400g /100 usd
Will it bottleneck ?
I dont understand it that much so i will appreciate some advices.

For most games at 1080P the 2400G & RX 580 would be a good pairing but if you live near a Microcenter you can get the Ryzen 1600 for $79.99 which would be a bit better.

The 2400G would suffice, just make sure to get a B450 motherboard as Ryzen really shines once overclocked and make sure you pair it with 3000/3200mhz memory, preferably in dual channel.

I got a Rog strix b350 f-gaming and i have only 1x8gb 3000mhz so thats not a dual channel :c

Now we must hope that your B350 shipped with a BIOS modern enough to work with the 2400G...; if the rig does not POST, you unfortunately might need an older processor to be able to update the BIOS the latest version that supports/recognizes the 2400G...

It may be listed as supported but if the BIOS is not updated from the factory you will need to update the BIOS>

The 2400g and RX 580 will be a real decent 1080p gaming combo. On the few games (and most AAA games) that might benefit from more than 4 threads, the 2400g might struggle if on a busy server. But it's not a deal breaker.
