Is an atom x5 z8300 good enough for 2D animation/light gaming?

I only want to be doing 2D light animation and light gaming. I would be pairing it with a drawing tablet and a keyboard case for portability. I know 3D animation would be a big no on this pc but 2D drawing and animation can't be that bad right? Also light gaming like Minecraft, axiom verge, Roller coaster tycoon 2, and other similar games should work right?

I have an older generation z3735 and it will run left 4 dead and call of duty world at war on low settings no problem.
Haven't invested in a cherry trail unit yet but plan to soon. Just waiting for the 4gb 64gb units to drop in price.
My point is these little units can do far more than most people think.
So yes I think the z8300 is suitable for light gaming

I got a laptop from my brother with an i3 2377m, its trash but I needed one for the time. How would a Surface pro 2 with i5 4200u run?
