Will a purchase of an i5-6600k on a motherboard z170pro gaming + an ssd nvme 128gb + liquid cooler master 212 worth for 170$?? (used parts)

i will have to buy in additional the ram plus the psu. and i will use the integrated graphics of the i5 6600k.

I am currenting using a core duo e6750 on asus p5kc ge force gt 210 4gb ddr2 ram 800mhz and an ssd of 128gb windows 7 64

Am i going to see a big difference in performance? I am not planning to play any games. just web browsing, youtube videos and light tasks.

thanks!

Performance difference would be quite significant. Yes.
You'd be upgrading from 15 year old 2core/2thread system to much more recent 4core/4thread system. It's still ~ 6years old though.

What is "liquid cooler master 212" ? It's probably not liquid, just regular CM 212 Evo. If it's 6 years old, then probably needs fan replacement.

my second option could be

an i-5 8600k with z370a pro + 2x8 gb ram ddr4 for 300$ (used parts)
also here i ll have to buy a new psu and maybe an ssd nvme.
and probably whatever i choose i think i ll go to use it for another 10 years... lol
