Is an Nvidia Geforce GT 740 strong enough to run newer games?

Im wondering how well an Nvidia Gefore GT 740 is going to serve me in gaming. will i be able to play some of the newer games such as DayZ Standalone if any of you know that game? I will also have 8 GB of RAM and intel core i3 dual core processor clocked at 3.5 ghz.

I doubt it, unless at low res and low settings, in which case probably ok, just about. It's not really a gaming card, and dayz standalone is quite intensive.

i will have DayZ at 728x544 which is 114% Think that will work?

You can lower down the resolution to 1366x768 to get playable framerate.
