So I'm hoping to re-use an old power supply that was pretty decent at the time (12 years ago) but I'm not sure that I have the correct connectors on it that I'll need. It is an Antec Earthwatts EA-500d. I'm wondering if this is compatible with the Asus Prime z490-P and MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Edge motherboards. The MSI is especially confusing me because I'm not sure if a 8+4 pin connector is the same as 2 separate ATX and EPS connectors.

Below is a link to the PSU I have and the two motherboards I'm looking at (there's another version out there but this is the exact one). These motherboards seem to require 8 and 4 pin CPU connectors. My PSU does have 8 and 4 pin connectors but I'm not sure if they are what I need (having doubts given how old my PSU is). I've built several computers but not an expert and looking for advice.

Goal right now is to keep costs cheap - no dedicated graphics card for now. Will upgrade GPU later if need be. But I don't want to throw something inferior in and blow something up.

Connectors:
20+4
6 pin pci-e x2
4 pin - I'm not sure what this one is
8 pin - I'm not sure what this one is

I found this link which says these are 4 pin ATX and 8 pin EPS connectors:
