I'm buying a PC with a budget around 2100 Euro. I found a prebuilt one fitting my budget perfectly and it is from a reputable company.
Is the motherboard a reliable one? I heard some people say this particular motherboard from ASUS destroyed their CPU, and I just wanted to err on the side of caution by asking here.

  • AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 104MB

  • PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB Reaper

  • ASUS TUF Gaming B650-E WIFI

  • Kingston 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 FURY Beast Black AMD EXPO/XMP 3.0

  • Kingston NV3 M.2 NVMe Gen 4 2TB

  • Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition

  • Corsair RM850e (2025) ATX 3.1

  • Windows 11 Home

60a vrm no you want 110a vrm.

If you want alternative:

Gigabyte B650E AORUS ELITE X AX ICE

ASRock B650E Taichi Lite
ASRock B650 Steel Legend WiFi
Gigabyte B650E AORUS Master

Gigabyte X870 Eagle Wi-Fi

A basic search reveals them to be amongst the stronger vrm contenders.

You might want to shop around reviews for any other features you might like but these should help avoid any jittery cpu issues.

Thank you so much, I'll look to resolve this issue.

I am always intrigued about the VRM recommendations around the 9800x3d as they seem overkill. I run a 14 phase 60a VRM and it is rock solid (MSI MPG X870E EDGE TI) on 2 seperate computers with no issues whatsoever. Temps are very good even under sustained 100% load and I have never experienced any stutters or issues of any kind.

Whilst I agree that 110a is undoubtedly a stronger VRM i just dont feel that this is the ONLY way to go.

I would recommend at least a 12 stage VRM and avoiding anything below but stating that 60A should be avoided I feel is not entirely accurate

This gives you a better board, SSD and cpu cooler. You can call around to local PC / laptop repair shops and find out how much they charge to build it for you if you bring them the components.

I'm going to start putting together these parts, thank you for this exceptional level of assistance :)
I know a place by the city, I'll have them assemble the parts.
