Question Is Baldurs Gate 3 very poorly optimized?

I have 55-80 FPS on 1080p with the harware configuration in my signature, it's really bad honestly. Other games are giving me 120 FPS easily.

Let me know about your experience with this game.

I'm on the budget side, playing at locked 45 FPS, was an extremely smooth experience with no frame drop up until the latest driver update, constant stutters at any settings now. 1080p, High, DLSS Balanced
