Is CCleaner still recommended these days?

Need to clear some storage from my SSD and possibly my HDD. I am wondering if I should download CCleaner or get an alternative. If I should get an alternative, what alternative disk cleaner would you recommend?

I'd recommend running windirstat, which is a program that shows you what is taking up storage on your ssd. I wouldn't use ccleaner because they've been recently exploited for vulnerabilities with their software. You also won't know what data that program will be removing from your SSD which seems sketchy.

I use it. I think it's a no hassles one stop util to clean up all the temp files scattered around my drives. I even pay them money for it. I know... Madness!
