I know this can be somewhat subjective, in terms of barely noticeable or annoyingly loud whine. Given this is Q3 of 2024, maybe this has improved.

I have been eyeballing the Sapphire Nitro but open to other brands. I like the fact I can remove the shroud on the Sapphire over the PowerColor without repasting when cleaning..not a deal breaker, also customer support is a big deal.

I don't plan to OC, just something to carry my X570 Aorus Master/5950X combo for the next few years at 3440x1440P.

Would like to hear from users of the 7900 XTX and any shortcomings with regards to coil whine or other issues.

I was looking at the 4080, but I like the faster bus of the XTX paired with my 5950X.

Not many GPU brands that carry AMD Radeon GPUs.

Other options, besides Sapphire and PowerColor are MSI and Asus. There are actually more,

I'm personally using MSI (Nvidia) and i'm pleased. Asus is also good (except their customer support). Now, EVGA was great but now, they ended their GPU line (and EVGA was Nvidia exclusive). Gigabyte is something i don't suggest anyone (too many shenanigans).
