Now If I pair q9550 with gtx 750 ti and 8gb of ram...will it be enough to play latest games such as tom clancy's wildlands gta v and watch dogs??

Solution
With demanding games such as the ones mentioned, and a 750 Ti, I would limit resolution to 720p max. I'd start with medium settings and start lowering or raising settings to get the best framerate first, best appearance second. Then, due to the CPU being older tech, I'd lower any CPU dependent settings as low as I could tolerate. Settings such as view distance for example. That should get you console style playability.
My friend uses a 7770 and played Wildlands all on low on his 1366 X 768 (I think, but definitely NOT 1080p) monitor. So I know that the 750ti will play it, but I'm not sure if your CPU is good enough.

This guy has your q9550 and can run GTA v with the old 550ti which is a lot slower than the 750ti. Your q9550 doesn't even push the 550ti though, so I would guess the 750 ti will only be used at like 20%... but it should play!

That is to be expected on this hardware. It is technically playable but that doesn't mean everyone would enjoy playing it this way. It's just barely passable.

your wrong saying it dont play new games, with q9550 and geforce gtx 960 it handles most games in full hd, so paired with a good graphics card it can play new games without problem. i also tried with a more low end radeon r7 260x and it was able to play battlefield 1 in fulld hd with a bout 40 fps .
