Is core2due cpu good for gaming any more

Hi guys ,,im rebuilding an old pc and my mobo has a775 socket is a core 2due cpu a good choice for gaming with a gtx 750 ti ..?can it play latest games with decent res and fps..?

Well,,every new game really as long as my pc keep up the pace like cod and bf may be metro last light and such games

no, bf4 multiplayer is very cpu intensive and only a quad core will cut it so dual core isn't going to be good

All right guys another thing i just found out that my mobo is ddr2 only if i upgrade to ddr3 one will i get different perfomance from the rams?? or it doesnt matter in gaming..?

Ok man i get so in my current combo i can get good graphics in most games ,,,but if upgrade to 6 gbs ddr3 ram and core i3 cpu with the same gtx 750ti is the experience wil be really really better or only in bf4 multiplayer..?
