I want to get a shorter and more cubic case.
I know there is a successor 680X but it is much more expensive and bigger, with height making no much difference with common mid-tower cases and with greater width. This is not the size I am looking for.

So if I were going to get Air 540, with Z390 MB (mid priced model $180-200) and 9700k, will any of the feature/function of those latest generation components be buried inside A540?

Thank you for the help.

The AIR 540 is a great chambdered case. I have one. Remember cases are all built to the same ATX spec. Unless you have an EATX board or something weird a case is a case. That being said some are better than others obviously.
