Is Dark Forces / Dark Forces 2 the best games ever...

I was sitting here through another boring FPS and I had a retro moment..

For me Dark Forces 1 and 2 were the best FPS..

It contained decent puzzles, pipes with fans to go through, under bridges metal construction in which you really felt you could fall of and was really tense...

There has never been a Starwars game that really came close in the FPS mode of gaming...

Tie fight and X wing a demanding an update to give us what we really need.. the starwars universe in my opinion just needs so updating - any die hard gamer would be daft not to agree..

The last console game was utter crap..

Pls pls Lucasarts give us a game we so desperatly need... Also another Monkey Island game wouldnt go a miss either...

What happend to the Indiana Jones game that was being developed... please dont tell me it was cancelled..

Best FPS?

Unreal series. Any of em, take your pick.

(nb the above excludes the utter utter crap that was Unreal 2)

Depends what you like though, DF and UT are at complete opposite ends of the FPS spectrum.
Most people will say CS / Half Life combo for the Multiplayer and Story driven. To be fair they probably aint wrong, i just lieks tanks.
