I've recently completed a PC build on PCPartPicker and I want to know if everything is OK with it
I also would like to know if it is capable of VR as I might invest in a headset in the future
Also I have no intentions of overclocking :)
Here is my build
\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor (£160.99 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: Asus H170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (£109.37 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory (£33.28 @ More Computers)
Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£33.29 @ CCL Computers)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£37.98 @ Novatech)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card (£279.98 @ Amazon UK)
Case: NZXT S340 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case (£59.99)
Power Supply: Corsair RMx 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (£76.68 @ Amazon UK)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM (64-bit) (£73.98 @ Ebuyer)
Wireless Network Adapter: TP-Link TL-WDN3800 802.11a/b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter (£21.30 @ Ebuyer)
Total: £886.84

(PS: If anything is changed I only have a budget of around £900)
Thanks!
OK

Solution
Looks like a good build! Yes it is vr capable, oculus and htc recommend a 970" or better. Only thing I don't like is your psu, you will probably want to get a higher wattage psu, I have a rm650x, which is a step above the one you have listed, and I recommend getting it, or the 750w, I say 750w. Hope I could help.

OK, I've changed it to a RMx 650.
One question though, if I upgraded my GPU to an Asus Radeon R9 390x 8GB, would everything run OK?

550 watts is fine for the GTX 970, but for the R9 390X, I would get at least 700 watts. The SSD is OK, but you might want to get something a bit better.

Like what?

That SSD is the one thats recommended by most people on this forum if you can fit it into your budget.

These would be nice:
