Sorry to revive this.
Okay, so I followed the advice in this thread a few months ago, flashed my BIOS to F6 and the FX-8350 worked perfectly fine.
Now - I just installed a liquid CPU cooler, and now it will not boot at all.
I installed my old CPU and it booted no problem, so that rules out the board, PSU, etc.

Question is what am I doing wrong this time? I extracted the BIOS F6 files to a USB - reflashed the BIOS, turned off immediately after, switched the CPU and it just does not POST, BIOS, nothing.

?_? What am I doing wrong? Is there a step I have forgotten, I don't remember if there is something I am missing or what? I cannot test the CPU in another computer as I do not have one....but it was working perfectly before I tried installing this cooler.
I find it unlikely I damaged the CPU as I am very careful with static and physical care..... please help 🙁

Sounds like you may have damaged some pins on the 8350. Turn it over and check it. Are you sure the F6 BIOS is compatible with the 8350? I would ASSUME it is a later BIOS revision than the one you flashed over?
