I know that it's oc'd 8350 is like stock 9590 but I want to go over 5 GHz of clock speed for future proofing my system.

Future proof? You do realize the turbo speed is 5 GHz. That is only four cores of an eight core cpu. The difference in speed between a 8350 at stock and a 9590 isn't even perceptible unless you have a stopwatch handy. Now take into account how easy it is to overclock an 8350 to near 9590 speeds. By all accounts the 9590 and the 9370 are terrible overclockers. That is because they are just factory overclocked 8350's. they have zero headroom. Also the few hundred MHz a 9590 has over an 8350 is hardly future proofing. A 4.7 GHz processor will be obsoleted just as soon as a 4.0 GHz of the same exact architecture. Your board will probably throttle the 9590. The Asus Sabertooth has beefier northbridge and mosfet heatsinks and a much stouter phase power delivery system.

Okay, I am typing this on a A10-5800K, my main rig is an 8350, I also have a 6300, 1055T, a 1605T, a 960T, a 965 BE, several Athlons and Semprons. I own no Intel processors. I am just telling you what you could find out very, very easy if you actually looked beyond your nose. People who own 9590's tend to get really stout boards. The best is the Sabertooth or Crosshair. I also own a GA-990FXA-UD3. It is a good solid board if it is a revison 1 or revision 4. That being said it is marginal at best for a 9590. And all you have to do is Google a search about what poor overclocks people get with 9590. It is already at its thermal max from the factory. You are the one who got mad and lashed out like a spoiled child. I just tried to help you.

Since you want to upgrade the CPU in the 4130 rig, just buy a $130 FX 8320 and set it to 20x multiplier for FX 8350 speeds. My FX 8320 rigs have that same board, and that is what I have done with mine. I have nothing against AMD. It is just anything above and FX 8320 just flat out isn't a value.

Going from an 8350 to a 9590 is not a significant upgrade and doesn't really provide any additional future-proofing - when the day comes sometime in the future that an 8350 becomes too slow to be adequate to perform tasks, the 9590 would stand only slightly less so. Overclocking is useful, but it's not magical. Given that you already have an 8350, the marginal cost of an upgrade to a 9590 is massive.

You are right. Everybody talks about "future proofing". Like a few hundred MHz on the same architecture makes a difference. Future proofing would be having a Core2Duo and magically being able to buy an I7 4670K before they even existed!

I work in the printing industry at a large firm where we deployed Macs and pc's starting in 1986. Not to mention SGI and Sun machines back in the day. I would say I am a bit more familiar with those things you mentioned above than you are.

To tell you the truth, I think these people (Or fanboys, as you're calling them) are into the gaming culture for a greater period of time than you do. That's why they know the difference between an intel and an amd. Greater frequencies, more overclocking just don't judge the processor's quality. I'm not saying that amd doesn't stand a chance in front of intel, but still, intel is a better option always.
If you buy an i7 with the money that is needed for an amd 9590, you'll gain in all possible ways.
If you want to know about the reasons, post it in a separate post, because this post has gone too long with your pointless arguments and criticisms. After all, TH is a discussion forum, not a forum to fight about one's personal opinions and interests.
