Question Is GIGABYTE Z390 motherboard compatible with 800w inwin commander III Psu?

Hey so I have 1070 gtx graphics w/ i7 4770k processor on an asus z97a motherboard.. im trying to upgrade to GIGABYTE Z390 UD LGA 1151 ATX which is compatible with i7 9700K my only question is.. Am i going to have to upgrade my powersupply I have the desert fox commander III inwin 800 W pSu cant find anything about it on the internet that makes me feel comfortable buying the upgrades... thanks!!

I would look into a concurrent PSU if I was investing into new components. As it stands, if the PSU was purchased around the same time as the processor, then it should be left alone. You can pick up an efficient, reliably built branded PSU that pumps out 550~650W for your entire built as opposed to working with a near 1KW unit.

ok so its not designed to power a newer cpu? even though its rated for 800w ??
