Is gtx 1060 compatible with my mobo?

Solution
Very little if any bottleneck with 2500k and GTX 1060.

Your mobo is uefi so youll be fine. Even if motherboard was legacy bios you'll still be fine.

All uefi gpus carry legacy rom, there are no uefi only graphics cards. The problem arises if Windows is installed using uefi priority boot and try to run a non uefi graphics card, will end up with a blank screen. LGA 775 / 1366 legacy motherboards have no problems running uefi graphics cards, though some models needed secure boot disabled.

Yes, the GTX 1060 is compatible with your motherboard, but here are a few things to note:

1. The PCIe lane is an older version, so it won't be able to deliver the full power of the GPU. This is ok though, it's normally not that noticeable.
2. Your CPU will bottleneck your GPU. There's nothing you can do about it, other than get a new CPU (and potentially new motherboard if it is a big jump of CPU generations).
3. Be sure to update your BIOS for the new GPU, and install the latest drivers for the GPU.

Overall though, it will be fine.
