Is GTX 1060 or GTX 1050 worth it in a budget PC?

I'm building my first pc and I'd like to keep the cost around the £500 mark.

I'm planning on using the Intel Core i3-6100 but I'm not sure what graphics card to get.

Is it worth getting the GTX 1060 3GB; or waiting and getting the GTX 1050; or should I go with something like a GTX 960?

I'd like to be able to play AAA games at 1920x1080 on high settings if possible (I figure that's a really unlikely) so I'm not too bothered if I have to go down to 1280x720 on graphics intensive games like the new Battlefront.

Solution
A 1060 3GB would get you pretty close to max at 1080p

A 1050 is anybodies guess at this point - a 3GB 1060 is pretty much what most people assumed a 1050 would actually be (or a 1050TI), so you wouldn't be achieving it with a 1050 when it launches (lower resolutions might be possible though).

An i3 + 1060 is a pretty solid 'budget' pairing.

Unless you can find a 960 for ~100quid or so (which is unlikely), then it's a pretty poor option.

Solution
1060 3gb is enough to max games in ultra at 1080p so for sure it will be in 720 xD crank everything up to max.

what about this op
