Is GTX 1070 enough?

I'm building my first ever PC in the next month and my question is, is the 1070 enough to play all games of 2018 and some upcoming games 2019 on Ultra 60 FPS?(I know that games like Wildlands and FH3 are badly optimized so I have to downgrade some details but what about the optimized games?)

It should, thought it'll depend on the game developers if they decide to ask more from your system. Ultra with 60FPS, I don't know, it's highly unlikely in 2019.

What about the 1080 I can also get that one there is only a 100$ difference which is big but i can manage
