Is GTX 650 compatible with my motherboard

Hello!

I have an Asus M4A78LT-M LE motherboard with geforce 8400 gs graphics card in it. I want to get rid of it (because it is tragic now).
I would like to use a GTX 650 ti but i know my motherboard has only pci-e 2.0. Would it still be compatible?
Also i am aware i would have to get a new power supply for this but i no nothing about what to get other than that 500W would be good.

Any help i would really appreciate

Yes it is compatible. PCIe cards are backwards compatible.

XFX Pro 550W is great, and at a nice price point.

PCI-E is backwards and forwards compatible for the most part. There is no problem.
A 650ti doesn't even take that much. Even a CX430 would be enough.

Yes GTX 650TI will be compatible with your MB. All GPU's are backward/forward compatible so no worries.
