I have already found my next gpu solution in the form of two r9 390's, however to fully enjoy my soon be beast of a computer, i must first find a way to connect them to my 4k tv. Now the problem is my tv doesnt have a display port. I was reading an article {link below} stating that HDMI 2.0 can run 4k at 60hz refresh rate. Is this true and will this one off of amazon work? And will it work with my gpu's?

Thank you very much. I guess i will just have to wait then.

Well Displayport to HDMI 2.0 converter is a dream now. A company is planning to make an active converter but they're still planning. You can only get 4K@60hz with GTX 980 or 970 with built in HDMI 2.0 port. Any other solution is not valid at the moment, just a romour or selling tactics.

so if i have a gtx 970, and a hdmi 2.0 cord, it will work?

Yes, NVidia has 2.0 but AMD is still lagging behind with it. Lots of TV's are coming with 2.0, but none with displayport so AMD really needs to kick it up if they think having displayport is good enough.

Ok, well i have a 970 but its in my brothers computer case. I will remove it when he isnt looking.
