Man, I need more information on this topic. One bottleneck website states a 23.5% bottleneck. I couldn't find the result I was looking for in YouTube videos, I saw sometimes good and sometimes bad results. The RX 470/570 should be fine as long as your PSU is up to meeting the power requirements. Ignore any bottleneck concerns. All systems have them in some form.
Dude, I play CPU focused games like Apex Legends and R6 Siege. Do you think this system can play the game without experiencing excessive sudden drops? Thank you for your time, even though you are a moderator.Believe what you want about bottleneck calculators. They are junk analysis at best. Same for YT videos.
All systems have some sort of bottleneck, even ones with the latest/greatest of tech.
Your old CPU/motherboard/memory is going to hold back the performance of any (relatively) modern GPU. Just a matter of the capabilities of that old tech.
Still, don't let that keep you from improving performance, within reason.
Given the age of your system, your best option is to save money for a future complete upgrade of your rig.
Not unless you lower the game settings significantly and ensure you keep your system as cool as possible.Dude, I play CPU focused games like Apex Legends and R6 Siege. Hello, if you are wondering about my current situation, I am writing. I decided to part ways with the i7 870. I'm switching to the lga1150 socket, I think it's really adequate and forward-looking for 768p and 1080p. I wanted to buy AM4 but it turned out to be too expensive, there is nothing I can do now but I'm happy. Not unless you lower the game settings significantly and ensure you keep your system as cool as possible.
My pleasure...even though I am a moderator.![]()
