Hello everyone,
This is my first time building a PC and I want to make ensure I get everything right.
I do not want to purchase an optical drive as I will most likely never use it. But it seems that the hardware of the PC comes with a DVD to get the hardware going. Is there a way to install the drivers of the motherboard and the GPU without an optical drive? Is there any website that shows the process step by step?
I have also read that one should not install the drivers that the hardware comes with because they are outdated and instead should download them directly from the manufacturers website. Is that true?
Thank you!
