This question is not about Optane vs SSD.
I'm well aware that Optane is advertised to be used with HDDs.
My system runs 24x7 and I mostly use it for Web Browsing, Video Playback & Playing Games. I am using a 500GB Samsung 850 EVO SATA SSD & I have an unused M.2 Slot. Currently all NVMe SSDs are very expensive & I don't want to commit to it. But I can commit to an Optane.

So here are my questions;
1. Will I get Boot Time, Game Load Time & Game Save Time Improvement from pairing up my SSD with an Optane?
2. If Yes, then how much of an Improvement will I get?
3. Performance Improvement of [Optane + SATA HDD] vs [Optane + SATA SSD] vs [Optane + NVME SSD]? {By SATA, I mean SATA III 6Gbps}

My Specs;
Corsair RM550x Power Supply
Gigabyte GA-B250M-D3H Motherboard
Intel Core i7-7700 Processor
1 x 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000MHz C15 Memory
500GB Samsung 850 EVO SATA SSD
4TB WD Blue HDD
ASUS Turbo-GTX1060-6G Graphics Card

I Did the test comparing Optane + Sata SSD vs Sata SSD alone, an indeed increases the read time nearly about 33%
