is that a bad idea to buy an gtx 660,gtx 760, rx 460, rx 560 or gtx 750ti and turning it on with my akyga 550w (that is that bas it has "288watts at 12v line").

i just need any gpu to replace my burning out gt 630.

specs:
mobo: gigabyte ga-78lmt usb3.0 r6
cpu: amd fx 6100
ram: goodram 1600 8gb x2
gpu: nvidia (msi 4gb version) geforce gt 630 (cheap 96 shading units)

mathematiclly my cpu can use like 85w and a like gtx 660 has a 140w usage.
85w+140w=225w
225<288

but nobody knows, even ceo of akyga how much it really can get.

i think its gonna blow up

rx 460, rx 560 or gtx 750ti would be fine with 300W PSU (like your akyga).

I wouldn't suggest trying it with gtx 660,gtx 760. Those require 450W PSU minimum.

Probably.
If your gt610 has failed, you do indeed need some sort of a gpu.
But, as a replacement, buy something very low powered like a gt1030 which will still be more competent.
Replacing with a stronger graphics card may damage everything.
Then, also, a fx6100 processor is very weak and may not give you any more performance, regardless.

Longer term, plan on replacing the fx product line and the psu.

i need something cheap and something that can play gta v, battlefield 5 and nfs payback. i know a cpu is bad but its everything i have

Try this simple test:
Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
This makes the graphics card loaf a bit.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.
For reference,
gt610 passmark = 350
GTX750ti=3903 needs 60w, likely your best option.
RX560=3645, needs 80w

I wouldn't trust this PSU to be connected to a turkey sandwich, so a GPU which costs considerably more is a definite no from me.

I wouldn't even rely on the 288W of +12V power. This PSU is junk city.

Also, watch the language. Site rules about expletives are specific and non-negotiable.

personally wouldnt put anything near that psu there like CIT europe brand ive seen a few of them in eu markets over the years.

if going amd rx 460 ( with no power connector )
nvidia 1650 ( no connector)
