Is it advisable to transfer a Mid Tower PC to a Mini Tower case?

The motherboard form factor is mATX.

I have a PCI soundcard hooked up, and in the future I may get a graphics card.

My wish is also to have 3 internal SSD/HDDs.

itx case usually has two expansion, while matx motherboard has four slots.

It depends on the case your going to use some Minnie towers support a mATX board some don't.
It could also depend on the motherboard some of the box store PC boards don't have the same front panel connectors types.

what do you mean by expansion?

The back side of the case where VGA card screwed
- mini itx 2
- itx 2 or 4
- matx 4 or 5
- atx mid tower 7
- atx full tower 8 or 9

Oh I see now.

I'm on pcpartpicker and they have a list of pc case types.
What's the difference between an ATX mini tower and a Micro ATX mini tower?
