is it just me or does the ps3 freaking lag!?!?!

Yeah with all the pics attesting to it's suckitude, definitely just makes him look like a tool.

This whole thread deserved a big STFU!

The only good thing I got from it was the animated gifs, and it makes me understand what this thread really needs.....

1. i never said i knew that the rsx=7800gtx...thats why i put a "?"!
2. I mad at the noobs at my school who think there freaking 360s and ps3s are like 500000 times better than my computer.

3. i was never calling anyone a noob here.

4. I played the game motorstorm on ps3 in target and idk. It just seemed lagging to me but the graphics were good as hell.

5. i thought the 360 was dx10 complaint i read it somewhere. I was wrong. I never said i knew
 
i find it sad u kno so little, besides the fact that the360s gpu beats the ps3 gpu in numbers by small margins until u take a look at shader operations per second where the ps3 almost doubles the 360....

and games on ps3 dont lag u moron. hell gears of war lags on 360 i dont see u complaining about that. computers dont lag? aaahhhahahaha. cpus arent important in gaming? AAHAHAAAA... consdering u obviously have no idea what the cell does for the ps3 u shoudlnt be talking

btw none of the consoles are dx10, a x1800 vs 7800 is more accurate. dont give me that has 48 shaders bs. 360 oblivion has 0 AF, if dx10 cards or even x1900 cant do that u woudl kill urself

There's so much wrong with this post I don't know where to start. The 360 is quite close in shader power and destroys in vertex shading, games on ps3 lag WAY more than games on 360, cpu's are NOT actually that important at this point in time(they will be soon tho), ps3 is openGL, 360 is dx9.5, xenos is closer to a mid-range r600, rsx is closer to a 7900gt with the bandwidth cut in half, and the reason xenos is lacking in AF is it is basically a half-baked dx10 card wasn't totally finished so it doesn't support AF in hardware(but it can be run in software mode ever so ineffeciently) so it has nothing to do with the 48 shaders(which can be used for vertex or pixel).
 
I have a PS3 and when I play madden it lags! During game play I will hit a button and it seems to be a delay. This causes be to be sacked or tackled. I have a xbox 360 and this never happens. The PS3 just came out so they need to work out the bugs.

The cow bell avatar has to go away, it looks spastic. It gives me a headache. I know that you can find a nice guitar or something... anything. Please, for all that is holy, please please change it before I go insane.

I agree with most of that.
However, there are still some people in the world that rather not screw with updating drivers, etc. and just want to play a game in the comfortable living room.

better console all round.. talk about xbox havin a crap controller.. u want to play a dvd...o here buy this remote as well
performance n games will never b a comparison because developers do not change the graphics for the two platforms and they are quite cos in performance specs
the RSX has it all over the Xenos, its one of the most advanced CPU out there games titles yeah yeah gears of war.... that is ONE game
also PS3 is already considered the best blu-ray player on the market
and thats from a home theater perspective *if u look away from the fct u need a receiver that can decode uncompressed PCM for ur high def sound*

I do that pretty much every weekend with my laptop, and many people have their HTPCs in their living room.
