is it me or is there really no diffrince between 1080p and 1440p on gaming?

ive been trying to figure out what Monitor I'm going to get, either a 1080p 144hz 32 inch or a 1440p monitor, ive watched so many comparison videos and I just cant see a difference while gaming only when on the desktop??? only difference I notice in comparison videos is 1440p has less frames but I see no Visual difference.

same here, 1080p seems to be good enough. It is just personal preference, somebody likes to see better details. Follow your heart.

I don't have 1440p or 1080 atm I'm running on a old 1600x900 atm , but I was talking about on the comparison videos on youtube I seen no difference at all

because your screen only show 1600x900. You won't be able to see any different. Like what vrumor said, you need to see it in person.

You aren't going to be able to see the difference if your monitor isn't 1440p already, because it isn't going to be able to reproduce what 1440p looks like. Same as if you aren't going to see the difference between a color TV and a black and white TV if you are watching it via comparison videos on your old black and white TV.
