Is it my Motherboard or my SSD?

Okay I recently got a Asus Maximus VII Formula motherboard and Samsung Evo 850 SSD for my new build. Sometimes when I shut my computer off at night and come back the next morning my computer won't boot. Then I have to unplug my SSD from the computer fiddle with the chords move to different SATA ports and then turn it back on it works. Now I've tried new SATA chords from what the Asus motherboard gave me and I bought some it still does this problem. The problem is inconsistent, I feel like I have enough tech knowledge to narrow it down to these two parts. What do you guys think?

Do you have another hard drive or ssd you could test with that motherboard. If you get the same issue it is probably the motherboard.
