Is it normal to have both integrated AMD iGPU drivers and NVIDIA GPU drivers on at the same time? Can I disable integrated?
Motherboard is
Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus wifi.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X CPU
Memory: 32GB T-Force RGB DDR5
I recently installed a GPU because I was having problems with my integrated graphics. Now I have both of them under display adapters. I did some research, and I think apparently you can have them both on.
The GPU is installed and working under display adapters. But it also has AMD Radeon Graphics under the display adapter. It's not working, by the way, because I think I have uninstalled the old one and the integrated drivers want to still work.
I believe it went to Windows Basic Driver at first. Then, after I installed the NVIDIA drivers for the GPU that I installed, it put it back under the displayed adapters called
"AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics."
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
Can I disable the AMD Radeon integrated driver or uninstall the driver in Device Manager? Is this alright? I think it will just go back to basic driver.
I also know Integrated Graphics is set to auto in the bios. Is it better if I just disable that in BIOS? What method is better at disabling IGPU completely?
