is 78C with i7-6700k stock on stress test with even virtual cores at 100% normal with a hyper 212x?

That sounds about right for most stress tests - maybe a little high for something like RealBench, just right for XTU or AIDA64 and a little on the low side for Prime 95 small FFT or IBT.
