Sorry for my bad english.
My Case is an ATX case and my mainboard is also an ATX mobo, but the case has 8 standoffs and my mobo has 10 standoff holes. So is it ok if I install the mobo with 8 standoffs instead of 10 ??

thanks guys

I checked my bag of screws that came with my case and there's only 1 standoff in that bag so it would be 9/10 standoffs

The answer to your question is yes.

The holes in a mobo and in a case never completely match. You temporarily place the mobo in the case and decide which holes in the mobo actually do line up with case holes. Then you install the standoffs in those places and check that you got it right. It is NOT necessary to use ALL the mobo holes, although you should use as many as you can. If you really can and want to place standoffs under all 10 mobo holes, get a few spare standoffs from a computer shop or a place that sells used computer parts.

I bought 20 additional standoffs but they arent the same height :/

If the new ones are only slightly different, you could use a couple for the "missing" two. Choose spots where a slight height difference won't matter - NOT along the back edge where the mobo has to line up just right withe the rear slots for PCI cards. If the new ones are just slightly shorter that the originals, you could even place a small washer under the mobo at that hole to take up the space. Remember, the area immediately around each of those holes is the ONLY area of the mobo that is supposed to be in contact with the chassis (Ground), so adding a washer between the mobo and the metal standoff is OK as long as it's not a large diameter washer.
