I just bought a brand new Ryzen 5 7600 through a friend since there was no stock near where I live. After paying, the seller sent me a picture showing that the CPU was manufactured in 2022.
The package is sealed and comes with a 3years warranty, so I assume it should be fine. Just wanted to check if this is something I should be concerned about?

Depending on your country, the mfg. warranty may no longer be available. Usually, you have to be the original purchaser and it must be purchased from an authorized retailer.

A new-in-box CPU from 2022 will be perfectly fine. As long as you're ok with questionable warranty support you shouldn't worry about the age.

Manufacturer's warranty starts from the date of purchase from authorized store or distributor. It doesn't matter how long ago it was manufactured and sitting on some shelf. Most of time, at least with manufacturers like AMD, Intel, Nvidia or their partners, doesn't need to be purchased in your name but they demand at least a picture of original bill of sale or invoice to ascertain date of sale and legality.
Some countries like for instance mine (Serbia), have law that demand minimum of 2 year in store warranty for all electronics products, over that need warranty list for that product which distributor or importer have to honor. Only if those fail, one needs to contact manufacturer.
