Im in strict budget to build a pc, is it okay to cheap out on motherboard like getting an msi h110m ddr4 and gtx 970 or getting an asus b150 gaming pro and a gtx 960 or r9 380? Maybe in 6 months I'll upgrade my gpu.
my rig would be:
core i3 6100
msi h110m/asus b150 gaming pro
gtx970/gtx960/r9 380
g.skill ripjaws 2400MHz ddr4
seasonic s12ii 520w

yeah, I was planning to get the haswell instead, but its aging already! I will just get the cheapest mobo.

Admirable
The motherboard and processor in my signature are incredibly good value for money.
The motherboard has enough connections and features for most needs, and the sound quality is good.
How much overclock you get depends on luck, but most people should get at least 4 or 4.1Ghz.

And yes, you CAN overclock on a Gigabyte H81 mobo and a stock cooler, but you have to keep the CPU voltage below 1.1V to avoid overheating the CPU and overstressing the motherboard.

stick with hassy a great set up for a decent rig its why i am going this way to sketchy on skylake & more expensive to build where hassy use ddr3 ram & simular components that will eat a skylake or give it a run
