[SOLVED] Is it okay to link PWM and non-PWM fans on a fan splitter?

I bought a hyper 212 black edition and want to hook up my corsair led fan (non-PWM) to the front and the included fan (PWM) on the back. These would both go into a fan splitter then into the cpu fan header. Is this safe to do? Will I still be able to control rpm?

(I know the led's wont shine bright if the voltage is being reduced and that's okay with me.)

Safe? Yes.
Control rpm? Yes, to the PWM fan, no to the non-PWM.
