Hello I have the deepcool gammax l120t and I want to move from one city to another its around a 4 hour drive but Im afraid of something going on and it ruins my motherboard. Ive moved my pc many times but it was fan cooled not liquid cooled. I just want to be on the safe side xD Thanks in advance peeps

Solution
Not to worry.
Your liquid cooler is about as heavy as a 120mm air cooler.
If you have room, lay the case down level so that the graphics card is vertical.
Perhaps in the trunk.
That way, there will be no torque on the card if the card moves.
Pack around the case so that a sudden stop will not move the case.
If you are really paranoid, orient the card to the direction you are traveling so that a sudden stop will not torque it. I imagine you have moved a case with graphics before and had no issues.
When you arrive, check all for anything amiss.
Perhaps first run without the case side so you can check for the possibility of a leak.

Yes it will be fine just make sure you have the pc laying down back of motherboard to the seats

I usually put my pc when I used to move it before behind me in the foot area between my seat and the back seats. I also put something to protects the case between my seat and the pc also to stop it from wiggling all the time. Or do you mean the back of the motherboard should be touching the back seats? Thanks for your time <3

You need to lay the pc down. Don't stand the tower up, it put's to much strain on the cards and cause them to brake the ports they plug into. Or they themslef can get damaged.

Just make sure any movement is because of car movement but its sturdy sitting and not dangling. We want it to be stationary. As for coolant temp that wont be a issue unless your driving in the desert here in CA and its 120F and the car AC doesn't work then when you bring her to her destination make sure to put it in a cool room with AC on for a while then power up the system and you should be good to go. ✝🤷‍♀️👍✌😲💯☮

Speaking for myself having 3 systems with Aio's mounted at the top would pull the Gpu's and keep the system up right and seatbelted in or wedged in preferably in a seat.
Not all cars ride the same and not all Roads are smooth.
I travel across the Us for a living and have been on 2 lane roads smoother then Interstate Hwy's.
Good luck with the move and Safe travels.
Have A Great Weekend Guy's.
