So I have a Samsung 860 EVO 1tb that I use for programs and games and a hard disk drive for files, pictures and video and etc. Yesterday, my hdd failed or is worn out due to old age. Now I only have my ssd as my storage device. I don't have any budget right now to buy a new hdd. So is it okay to use my ssd for all the files, programs and bulk files, for everyday use? Will my ssd last for 5 years without having an hdd?

Absolutely.
All my systems in the house (except for an ancient low end laptop) are all SSD only.
