Is it okay to take out fan bracket from arctic cooler 7 pro rev 2?

I need to do this in order to fit the ram sticks. Anyone know if this will change the performance?

You can temporarily remove the fan to install the RAM sticks if that is what you meant. Obviously, you can't run w/o the fan or the temps will skyrocket.
It's hard to believe that that compact little cooler is in the way of the RAM sticks tho.
