i brought a system that has a cpu of Intel i9-9900K 3.6GHz and a gpu of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8G also a 1TB SSD, along with two stick of 16GB DDR4 and the os is Windows 10 Home 64-bit
and i also brought ram:
4 stick 16gb each 3000mhz brand corsair and name vengernce lpx ddr4
ram part number:
cmk64gx4m4d3000c16

the motherboard ram spec compatible table:
https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_z390-ud_20191108.pdf
has a partial match up to cmk64gx4m4 and even saw 3000c16 but not a full match for cmk64gx4m4d3000c16 instead of the letter d, a match with the letter b in there.

my question is, is this ram compatible with the gigabyte z390 ud motherboard?
what i'm hoping is for a yes so i don't have to ship this ram back since i order it online and would have to wait for the return and the refund to purchase the correct ram. i don't understand if it not compatible seeing what the brand is.

---------------------------------------------------------------------UPDATE!!!!------------------------------------------------------------------

okay so after talking with gigabyte and corsair they say the same thing pretty much that they recommend to get the ram that appear on the pdf list and that it could work the just can't guaranteed it to work.

so after that i just gave it a try and here are the result and note that the mutipler was shown to be 3000 even know i didn't tke a snap shot of that in the bios but if you like me to do that to let me know so one can be sure i'm all good :

test ran with techpowerup memtest64 v1.0:

bios info in easy mode:

does everything look right?

That is the 4 x 16GB Corsair kit and it will work no issues at all. Not sure why it is not on the list but it should be as it is Vengeance LPX memory and that works on pretty much every motherboard. As importantly on the Intel side, RAM is rarely an issue. Make sure you factor in a decent cooler for the 9900K as it boosts very well and you can easily push it to 5GHz...
