i was trying to find a screen to replace my broken laptop screen and i found this one but its says:-
and i ahve no idea if this will be ok or how to check

Measure your laptop. 5mm isn't a huge difference, but it would probably make the screw hole tabs not line up.

i thought it might be a version thing thats all like when other pc parts and mb;s have v2.0 etc

Generally, I will see if anyone has done a teardown on youtube or ifixit.

If not, just general knowledge on how to take apart laptops. Precision screwdriver set and some spudgers (guitar picks, make-up spatulas, and other assorted plastic objects to use as wedges to release clips)
