[SOLVED] Is it possible to flash a RX 570 to a RX 580?

I remember reading about flashing BIOSs back with the 400-series. Just wondered if that was still possible with the 500-series. The card in question is an XFX RX 570 RS 8GB XXX Edition.

I haven't heard of this being done. (Not to say it's impossible just because I haven't heard of it)

To make it faster. I'm wondering if there is a way to make a 570 into a 580. Or are there resources the 580 has that aren't present on the 570?

Although they're both Polaris 20 chips, I don't think you're going to unlock CU/TU/SP resources from an RX570. I know Vega 56s could be flashed to a Vega64 at times though.
I absolutely wouldn't try this unless your GPU has a dual BIOS (switch).

If you want more (free) performance, OC your GPU and/or VRAM. RX570/580 cards can/have hit ~1500MHz core frequency.
