Can you have a gtx 750ti without a 6 pin cable? Like just plug into the PCI and screw it in then you're done? This guy that sold me the pc said the only GTX 750ti that's compatible is the one with two fans but I think he's only saying that because he's selling it

ah ok, i thought all the gtx 1xxx wouldn't be compatible and too expensive for me. eg gtx 1080 is like £600

Yeah 75w is the standard max wattage for the pci-e slot, so some just list that.

GTX 780 were about £600 when they were new too. Big difference from the high end to the low end.

Would an EVGA GTX 1050ti SC be what im looking for? Also my monitor is DVI-D, or is that not important? Can adapters make any monitor work on these graphic cards?

A8-7600 3.5ghz. HDMI to dvi? What about vga monitors

the rx cards & the gtx 1*** range cant push an anolog signal (meaning no vga) without an active converter - which is £10-15 extra.
If your monitor is dvi-d then it will be fine ,If youre not sure let us kow the exact model of monitor youre using.

Yeah it's fine :) my monitor is currently dvi-d but I'm asking on behalf of vga in case I get one in the future. So is my apu fine? It's for entry level gaming

youre probably not going to get 100% use out of a 1050ti in all fairness.
Depends how much you have to spend though.

for £100 go with a rx 460
for £120 go with a gtx 1050

Just go for the 1050 and save the rest of the money then. The 1050 will do League on max settings at like 200+ fps.

Do you personally play league? Because I've seen on YouTube the 1050 does 300+ fps. Do you recommend the ti version or standard?

The 750 ti is "plug and play" which means it doesn't need to draw power from the PSU. And I know because I bought one when it released. So to answer your question: The GTX 750 ti doesn't need a 6 pin connection because it doesn't even have a a port for you to attach power to it. That being said, unless you can get it cheap I'd just go with the 1050 which seems to be the card that's replacing the 750.

Yeah I play League. My 1060 gets over 300fps at 1440p max settings. Doesnt need much power.
