Which page, specifically.
Stlll not seeing it.
Page 18, if we're talking about the simple beeper speaker. But if OP meant something completely different, then I'm just as much at a loss.
Any idea if a basic conical speaker could work with the 4-pin and output more than just beeps? I see a few
Dell OEM options with the same 2-wire, 4-pin plug, and there used to be some
2-wire speakers similar to
this that could be plugged into it as well and used with PCM Audio.
The only other internal speaker I could think of is maybe the basic speaker that could plug into the Audio Header (on page 17 of the manual), but those were somewhat niche back in the day but allowed builders to use the basic speaker that came with their computer cases for audio, even if it sounded tinny. As well, I don't see those around anymore.
The other 2 solutions I see are probably "ghetto" options, if OP wants more than just beeps or some custom-made solution.
Option 1:
USB Header to USB + cheap
USB Speaker (or just a cheap USB speaker). Plugs into a spare USB Header on the mobo (if there is one available), then plug the USB speaker to it. Or if the Header is full, plug the USB speaker to a spare USB port, routing the cable through an open PCI slot, and just double-side sticky the USB speaker somewhere inside the case.
Option 2:
Audio Header to 3.5mm Output Adapter + cheap
3.5mm Jack Speaker (or just a cheap 3.5mm Jack Speaker). Like Option 1, the adapter takes the Audio Header slot, and splits it into a 3.5mm Audio and Mic jacks, then plugging in the speaker to the Audio jack. Or again, routing out the cable for the 3.5mm Speaker through a PCI slot and into the front or back Audio port if the Header is occupied.
