Solution
If it has 2 GB of RAM that will be fine. Be aware of the 4GB capacity. However why not. XP uses a minimum amount of resources so the 2GB of RAM will go a long way.

Also depends what you are doing with that laptop.

With web development HTML5 is not compatible with XP.
With gaming XP is limited to DirectX 9.

I still use XP. But it has some drawbacks. Consider a dual boot with Win7.

You don't need a driver for your CPU. Anyways there a plenty of drivers. I got a driver for a GTX 650 Ti, my Asus B75-M Motherboard and my hard drive. So you are kind of wrong. And why would they not make drivers for XP. 20% of computer users still use XP. They would be bring down a business's market. So no there still are drivers for XP.

XP is no longer supported, no need for CPU and GPU ok, but for sound card ???, for track pad ???, for integrated webcam ??? for fingerprints reader ??? what is the point of buying a laptop if you're bringing a mice, a webcam or any other devices that are integrated in here as the only problem is drivers... anyway win7 with 4gb is almost the same as xp (and could be faster if you tweak it a little)

Believe me drivers aren't really an issue, as I mentioned 20% of users have XP. That is 1/5 of the computing community. Any knowledgeable businessman knows that they should have drivers for 1/5 of their market. For Windows 95, Me and 2000 it is understandable. But XP. XP is in total 620MB, Windows 7 is 3.7 GB. XP has graphics (GUI) which puts less strain on the computer, unlike Windows 7 theme which if you don't have a dedicate GPU will put the workload onto the CPU. Windows XP was made in the time of Pentium III and Celerons. With a i5 it will run faster. Not saying Windows 7 will but compared to XP I am not sure that 7 would beat XP.
