Is it possible to not put the PCI-E completely into the GPU without noticing?

Hi, so I have just changed my GPU for the first time and everything works great. Its just one thing that I'm wondering about.. When I was unplugging the power cable from my old GPU it was hard to get out but when I plugged the same cables into my new card it slided in pretty easy.. So that made me wondering if I plugged the cables into the new GPU "hard enough" or correctly.. Just a stupid question.

As your GPU is working okay and I assume the power cable does not just pull out with no effort... then you should be fine.

I had a similar problem with a motherboard power connector and a cpu power connector in the past. They were not sealed in with silicone or anything but it was almost impossible to pull them out of my old motherboard (I nearly broke the motherboard!)

However they both then slid into the new motherboard connectors with zero effort.
