I am planing to buy new ram DDR3, is it possible to put a 2 ram at the same time?
Also I want to put 2GB ram or higher(if possible) I am more on gaming.
If possible also give me the price. Thank you very much.
Hey there,
According to the manufacturer's website, the max RAM size for this computer is 4GB. It has 2 memory slots and it is recommended to use 2x2GB DDR3 SDRAM - non-ECC 1333MHz for maximum performance.
Hope this helps,
Captain_WD.
Thanks for the feedback, but can I ask if there is a specific ram needed when I buy one ?
if there is what is the complete name of it?
also meaning I can put 2 GB ddr3 ram at the same time even if I wont upgrade my graphic card?
Hello again
Since you already have 2GB, you have to check if it is 1 single 2GB stick or 2 sticks of 1GB each.
If you have 1 single stick, you can check what brand and model it is (either look for a software that can do that online or you have to open your computer to see for yourself) (have in mind that opening it would probably void any warranty that you might have!) and get the same brand, model and size stick to put it next to the one that you already have.
If you have 2 sticks, you have to change both of them. Pretty much every 2GB DDR3 SD RAM - non-EEC of 1333MHz would work. I would need to know your Motherboard to know if it supports higher frequency sticks or other types.
I would suggest going to a technician near you or call Acer support to check for you what type of RAM you have, if you don't feel comfortable opening up your computer and want to be sure.
