is it possible to reinstall windows 8

i got the cheap upgrade at the start of the year and am now building a new rig.
i want to know if i can reinstall on my new rig

If your upgrade was over retail copy of your previous windows then yes using that retail license.

the oem of windows 7 or 8 is linked to the mb you install it on. if you do install it on a new rig you have to call microsoft up and say the old mb died.
