Question Is it possible to remove the PSU Shroud on the Corsair 275R?

I am trying to remove the PSU shroud because it juts gets in the way of everything and I really don't care about aesthetics enough to keep it. I would just like to know if it is possible to do so because I still haven't found a way to remove it.

Someone asked same question on Corsair forums 2 years and still waiting for an answer. That would leave me thinking answer is no if you haven't found anything either.

Corsair Carbide Series 275R PSU Shroud

I am thinking of getting the Corsair Carbide Series 275R (White w/Tempered Glass) ATX Mid Tower Case for my next build. To work with my theme, I'd like to remove and paint the PSU shroud. Does anyone know if it can be removed temporarily?
