Question Is it possible to repair this laptop?

Hello guys,
Firstly let me tell you what happen:

So I got Lenovo yoga 510 laptop and I wanted to upgrade the HDD to an SSD.

I ordered SSD and when it arrived I installed it.
The problem is that the last screw fall from my screwdriver onto the motherboard of the computer, and because I didn't disconnect the battery a part of the motherboard burned..
(I know, my bad, didn't knew I will screw up so bad and i learned my lesson from this case.)

So I really got upset and I tried to turn it on after 5 minutes to see what will happen, and the computer turn on normally without any errors! (firstly i thought maybe the part that was damaged isn't that important to the system)

I knew that something is gonna not work I just didn't know what, Then I found out that the charging isn't working (so when the battery will drain the laptop will be dead)

I wanted to ask you guys what do think, is there any chance of override the charging port? or maybe a fix for this problem?

(I took it to a computer lab on my city and they told my that I need to replace the motherboard itself and this is cost around 700$ in my country so its not worth to replace it..)

Its unlikely. First you will need to identify the damaged computer chip. Next you would have to find and purchase the computer chip. Then Assuming you know how to micro solder you could remove and replace the damaged computer chip.

Even if you did all that perfectly, its still unknown at this point what else may or may not have been damaged.

I agree with this. You would be better served replacing the motherboard, or even the entire laptop, at this point. You should be able to find a used, working motherboard for less than a new replacement.

I thought maybe there's a way to keep the laptop "alive"? (because hes working just perfectly when charged)

You can set it up like any other computer that can not be charged. For example use it as a always plugged in desktop. Get a desk, a monitor, keyboard, mouse, decent speakers and only move it occassionally with the power to the laptop and accessories off. Its still usable, just not a laptop anymore.

Think of it as a tiny small form factor pc case for now on.

I try google it a lot ( i can see its written on "HRZ 610KS") but without any luck..
